Treasurer's report

Kitty: Current account balance is $75. Membership show is soon and should bring in some funds.

We paid rent, we're still about $1,000 in debt to W2 and MAK. We've been able to pay rent 3 times so far this year.

Jim requests clarification on line item "web fees." Kitty will look into it.

Curator's report

MAK: Strong attendance for reception on Make a Wish (about 40 attendees).

Juried show Nov 24- Dec 19. Question about where to store pieces as they arrive prior to exhibit/during shows.

Calendar for 2010 exhibits handed out.

Setheyny: We have 5 interns doing various jobs related to the newsletter and social networking. 

Working on multiple party ideas as show of appreciation for members, supporters and volunteers.

Marketing Report

One of our new interns (Craig) is a marketing major.

Question about how to get interns off the ground faster next semester.

Jeff designed a new bumpersticker. Thoughts of making some of them magnets. Angie, Jeff and Setheyny will price shop printing costs.

Dinner and Movie: Lasagna, $15.

Jazz Brunch, December 13, $30. Targeting potential high-end donors.

119 is cosponsoring with upcoming Lowell Film Collaboritive and UML events on Nov 12 and Nov 16. 

Development Report:

Parker Foundation deadline is coming up.

Bank of America deadline is revolving.

Interns Jaime and Joy from UML English Dept will be working on grant writing.

Setheyny created a list of volunteers. Question about how open we want to be with their contact information for ease of access by 119 event organizers.

Question regarding attendance figures for various past events. Habit of taking attendance figures went away at some point and will be re-introduced. Attendance for recent events will be estimated based on other specific event-related information.
