Marketing Report
December 12, 2008
Projects Completed Since Nov 7
Jazz Brunch: We had 17 people attend, with several of them being new to the gallery. All in all, we most likely broke even on the event. There were several good connections made, however, that made up for our lack of “money making.”
Soundscape Project: I’m currently helping Jed and Walter review possible grant opportunities.
Current Membership: After reviewing the database, we’ve determined that from what we can tell there are only 47 members who are up to date on their membership. We are looking into getting contact info for recently expired members so that we may send them an email reminder to pay their dues.
NAMAC Grant Application: Unfortunately we did not receive the NAMAC grant, however we will be looking into alternative orgs to submit our proposal to.
Bear Market Beat Bonanza: Was a success, and we are looking to possibly expand it to a once a month event.
Jericho Rd Application: Has still not been responded to. We will be looking at alternative ways to secure a fundraising consultant.
Projects in Progress
Focus groups: Mira has put together a list of people that will be contacted for focus groups to evaluate what types of events we need to be putting on to draw more people.
Strategic Marketing Plan: We will be focusing more on building more community partners.
National Endowment for the Arts: We will be looking into securing a grant to supplement our funds.
