Marketing Report for Board Meeting September 5, 2008

 

Developing a tag line.  Need to have each board member review the list and give their top 5 choices.

Moving database to salesforce.com.  Moving press into their own list. 

 

 

Sent out a survey monkey to the mailing list to better qualify them within the database.  The plan is to become more targeted in our communications to the different constituents. 67 people responded to the survey!

 

 

We are in the early stages of identifying merchandise to purchase.  Items will be used as giveaways to promote the gallery and also will be made available for sale.  Item ideas we have kicked around are:

  • Mugs
  • T-Shirts
  • Hats
  • Bumper Stickers
  • Would welcome other ideas from the board

 

 

We will be developing a new brochure for the education program when the calendar has been solidified.

 

 

Annual Fund Raising Event has turned into two events.  The date is Sunday, November 16, 2008 for both.

Jazz champagne brunch will be held for potential donors

  • Need jazz band
  • Mira will be preparing the food
  • Dinner & a movie for current and new members
  • E will be donating food
  • Other details in Walter’s report
